Monday Miscellany

Just a few updates:

1.) Things are going well with the house(s). We move into the new one at the end of June.

2.) We got a contract on our current home after 6 days on the market (the second showing), which I find just insane!!! The home inspection was last week and we are still ironing out some of the details about what we are agreeing to fix. I can only hope that things continue to move along and we can close, without incident, as scheduled on June 30th. Nothing is a done deal until then - especially in this market...

3.) I failed to officially update everyone on the status of Josh's Biggest Loser contest. He was the official winner (and recipient of $500) with 27 pounds lost. He sure did work hard for it :). We (Josh said $250 of the money was "mine" for being such a good coach - lol) didn't do anything too special with it. That is, other than enjoy our St. Maarten vacation to the fullest.

4.) Happily, we are both maintaining our weight loss and feeling better than ever.

5.) I finally gave in and joined the Facebook bandwagon. I never thought it would happen...

6.) Because my husband works in the beauty business, and someone with OPI recently stumbled upon my blog, I got the most kick ass care package from the fabulous folks at OPI. It includes the entire Colorcopia collection and the brand new collection inspired by Paige Premium Denim.
As a result of my good fortune, I'm thinking of doing a giveaway. A first for this blogger. Thoughts?

7.) My baby sister turns 21 on Thursday, which brings with it the reality of how old I am getting - lol.

8.) I am so pumped for The Biggest Loser finale on Tuesday. I think I'm rooting for Tara to go home with it. Although, it would be awesome to see someone like Kristin go home with the Biggest Loser at Home title and money. We shall see...

Happy Monday everyone!

I love OPI, except I can't manage to make it dry at home!

I think it'd be awesome to see someone from home take the Biggest Loser title! I love the African American woman who's getting married...she came back a few episodes ago and got voted off right away.

Oh please do a giveaway! That is so amazing that they sent you the OPI polishes. I am going to start writing all about it on my blog too. :) Little did they know, you are the last person that needs it! How cool!!!

I want Tarah to win! Can't wait!

Congrats on the house stuff - I'll keep my fingers crossed that the sale completes smoothly. What a blessing in this market!

I wish I worked in an office that A) was big enough to do a Biggest Loser thing and B) had people who actually needed to lose weight to validate doing a Biggest Loser thing. Skinny jerks. :) Good job, Josh!!! Way to go, coach. Just knowing how much you've helped me shows how much you deserved your half of the winnings.

Kristen was my favorite, now I don't care who wins. I'm not that into Mike and Ron winning though :)

Yay for the house! I hope it continues to go smoothly. Those OPI shades are really nice, though I guess that is like saying the Pope is Catholic. :)
